We have a client that appears to have been upgraded from GP9 to GP 10.0 sometime back. The issue is we drop the correlating Cnk file to install the PSTL tools, we aren't promted that the tables are going to be updated.
We have tried running an installation of GP10.0 disk but unfortunately it only allow us to install to the default directory, and not the directory path used by this upgraded GP9 to 10.0 is using.
If we use the "clean" install of GP 10.0 we receive an error that the version of GP 10.0 is not compatible with our DB...but it is...very confusing.
The issue that we would like to address is getting this upgraded instance of GP 10.0 to use the PSTL Cnk file or atleast a good explaination as to why it isn't working in the first place even after following the instuctions set out in the PDF that comes with the PSTL file. (we are using the version that matches our version of GP (10.0.0.1193)
