The company I work for uses GP 2010 and we have some doctors that are paid on a percentage of their production for the day. Currently, we enter all the information in an excel spreadsheet and calculate the amount then enter the calculated payment amount in a transaction batch. Can we set up a Pay Code and put the percent that it should calculate for each doctor there and then we would enter the total of production in the tranaction batch and GP automatically calculate the payment? For example:
Emp 1 has a Production Pay Code at 35%
Production for the Period was $5,000 (Enter this amoun in Payroll Transaction Batch) and batch calculates 35% of $5,000 is $1,750.00.
Could we use the Commission Pay Code or can it be set up with a percentage amount?
