We've been installing the GP Web Client and we've come across a problem that has us stumped.
When we sign into the web portal we get an unexpected error. The only way to get past this problem is to add the windows user account to the local administrators group on the machine hosting the GP web Client. Then everything works correctly. However there are strict security protocals in our company and adding an account to the administrators group is a big issue.
The question is why does it need to be in the administrators group? What security or permission does it need and can we apply this directly rather than giving a blanket role like Administrators?
I notice in the installation instructions Chapter 5, Page 23. It does mention this requirement, but it also says its required for the Beta Relase. Which we are not using. Has anybodty else come across this problem?
