GP2013 web service issue -- Service Unavailable...HTTP error 503

I am not sure where the issue lies. I followed through Mario Gomez's GP Web Client install series but cannot get onto either the web application:

1) GP  

or

2) WebManagementConsole.

I do have both my services running: GP Session Central Service & GP Session Services

I am able to get to the default web site which shows IIS 8.0 on the web.

I am able to get to the main site: gpweb which shows "localhost" with asp_netclient link.

I have tried restarting services and IIS services. I've tried reinstalling both the web client runtime and Web client...but still end up with:

Service Unavailable.

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

Is there a setting or step I'm missing? Has anyone else run into this?
