Just recently posted about needing help with a test GP migration (see above). Backed up and restored dbs to a new server, created new ODBC connection on the new server, installed GP 2013 to the new server, and than ran GP utilities to update the tables. I was eventually able to log into GP 2013. Back on the segregated/live environment I had complaints of errors when user tried to run reports on http://(live server)/reports For example trying to run payroll summary (below) results in the following error:
If I check the properties on that report, it shows a modified data of today and modified by myself (about the time I was doing the upgrade). If I had such a segregated environment of different servers, different sql instances, and dbs, how could have GP altered the live environment? For now it just seems some of those default/canned reports are the only things screwed up, but I definitely am a tad worried for the rest of the live environment. Anyway to reset those reports to their defaults?
