I am using Dynamics 2013 RTM version. I have created multiple dynamics databases( Dyna1,Dyna2) and associate companies with them (CMP1 with Dyna1 & CMP2 with Dyna2). I have checked that while creation of database, GP creates a new folder at installation each time and also creates a unique DSN for that. It allows me to successfully log in to the relevant companies.
My question is : once I login to the relevant company, how would I come to know at run time which Dynamics company(Dynamics database name), it is pointing right now. I have to work on an addon project for that I require the details to create connection with Dynamics and Company databases. Is there any direct method or API to get that? In older version, we already knew Dynamics database name is 'DYNAMICS' only so there were no issues with that.
Also, I have hardcoded 'DYNAMICS' in dexterity code. How would I make change in dexterity to get the actual Dynamics database name?
