auto-complete in the financials series

Hello,

I am currently using Microsoft Dynamics GP10 at work and am wondering if there is a way to have auto-complete in the financials series? I ask this because the account numbers we use are 10 digits long and often times, 9 of the 10 digits should be zero when I am making an entry. Can those 9 digits auto fill so I don't have to type them in?  Someone mentioned the following three options:

You could write a macro that you can execute with a hot key (like F2)

You could use VBA to programmatically change it.

You could use a nickname (alias) for the account.

Can anyone please tell me more about these or offer new suggestions.
