I have an item that has been determined that it is a serialized piece of equipment. We have just been tracking by lot # but have some in stock that need to be tracked by serial #.
I removed the item completely, tried to change our class id from newpt to neweq which should make it track by serial#.
It has worked before that i did that and the next time i went in to receive, it asked me for a serial #.
It's not working this time though.
Is there a way to change it or will i have to set up a whole new part #?
